Episode 4 - Hatching Dragons

Romeo’s worst nightmare became true when the kidnappers took their treasure and he didn’t get his daughter back… His heart breaks when he finds an empty room and they only left him with another note… Just more games… They must go to Dragon Valley and hatch some dragon eggs for the heartless kidnappers…

Millard: Really? I can’t believe it! Did we really come here all the way to hatch dragon eggs?

Romeo: They want ten dragons or they are going to kill my daughter…

Jason: Dragons doesn’t exist… Are the kidnappers crazy or what?

Philip: We also thought mermaids doesn’t exist… But Roger did see one…

Fynn: I believe we will find some dragons or eggs here…

Leo: Wow! Really? Why do you think that?

Fynn: Just a gut feeling and the fact that I just had déjà vu…

Jason: I still don’t believe in dragons! You guys are really watching to much movies! Maybe they existed in the Dinosaur time frame but not now, not anymore… They have been extinct millions of years ago…

Romeo: I suggest we talk to the local people… If the dragon eggs does exist and we can find it here, then I’m sure they will know about it…

Millard: It can’t do any harm to ask and look for it… Maybe we can also find some treasure…

Philip: I’m sure we will find the eggs here… I can feel it in every bone in my body..

Romeo: I want to talk to you about your… What did you called it? Déjà vu ?

Fynn: Yep… What about it?

Romeo: Did you see the dragons?

Fynn: Mmm… No I didn’t see the dragons, but I got that feeling of something amazingly unbelievable is going to happen soon! And i do get déjà vu moments a lot and precognitive dreams too.

Romeo: What dreams?

Fynn: Haha, yes i know it’s a mouth full. Precognitive dreams means that I dream about the future..

Romeo: Ok so did you maybe see something about my daughter? I’m sure you should have seen something by now… We’re busy with this search for weeks now…

But before Fynn could answer Romeo’s question Millard interrupts them…

Millard: Do you guys really believe that we will find dragon eggs here?

Romeo: I really hope so Millard… My daughters life depends on it!

Fynn: They don’t call this place Dragon Valley for nothing… I’m sure we will find dragon eggs here…

Millard: That will be so cool… Do you think the dragons got some powers?

Fynn: I believe so! The legend goes that the green dragon can summon treasure…

Millard: Wow! I want one! And the others?

Fynn: Red dragons can spit fireballs, Purple dragons can makes you happy and so on… I’m not sure what else they can do…

Millard: Cool! I can’t wait to find these eggs…

Oh hello little doggy! Where did you come from? Are you also here to help search for little dragon buddies?

Fynn decides to visit one of the beaches early the next morning… Maybe he can find someone that can tell him about the dragon eggs…

Luckily he didn’t have to wait too long before a lady, Meave Eames introduced herself to him… She asked him where he lives and if he is on vacation in their pretty historical town. And then they started chatting about all their likes and the weather and the other places he visited… He also told her about Juliet and the search for her and what crazy things the kidnappers are demanding from Romeo….

Meave: So this time they want your team to hatch dragon eggs for them?

Fynn: Yep, are the stories true? Are there dragon eggs here?

Millard decided the grave yard is just the place to find some dragon eggs…

He was still searching for the eggs when a young lady walked up to him and ask him what he was searching for…

Susie: Have you lost something sir?

Millard: Ummm… I don’t know how to tell you…

Susie: Are you with the guys at the Town’s Camping Site?

Millard: Yes… Why?

Susie: What are you guys doing here? Is it true that you are looking for dragon eggs?

Millard: Wow! Stories are running like wild fire through this town… But is it true? Does dragon eggs or dragons really exist?

 

Philip: Did you find any dragon eggs today?

Jason: I’ve told you it doesn’t exist… We are wasting our time here… We should have gone after the kidnappers…

Philip: But where are they?

Jason: I’m sure we can find out where they are… They must stop playing games with us… Romeo do you have any idea who the kidnappers might be?

Romeo: No… I don’t know… I also wish they could stop playing these games with us and give my daughter to me…

Jason: We will find her… We just have to stop wasting time and look for them…

Millard: Hi, guys come over here and check what I’ve found…! A real dragon egg and it’s ready to hatch…

Millard: Wow! A real red dragon…! Our first dragon! Where’s Jason? He has to believe now! Dragons do exist…! Awesome!

Millard: Where are we keeping the dragons? The women that I got the egg from said we have to hide the dragon when it hatches…

Romeo: Why?

Millard: She didn’t say… She just showed me the egg in the graveyard and left before I could ask her about it…

Romeo: I wonder why…? That’s strange…

Fynn: What’s wrong, Millard?

Millard: I was just wondering… Did the women on the beach tell you anything about the dragons?

Fynn: No, just that we are looking for a needle in a haystack… But you found one, so she lied to me…

Millard: Yep that is very strange… All the other people in the town doesn’t even want to talk to me…

Fynn: Yep I also find it very strange… It’s like their hiding something..

Fynn: Isn’t he adorable?

Millard: Yep he is very sweet… Leo is very lucky to have a dog like Haylo…

Jason: Guys, I just got a message from the girl that I met earlier today… She wants to meet me at a pond near her house… Maybe she’s going to tell me about the eggs…

Millard: So what are you waiting for? We know now dragons are real, and the sooner we get more eggs and start hatching them the quicker we can get Romeo’s daughter back!

Jason: Yep you’re right I’m on my way!

A half an hour later at the Crios Pond…

Nessie: The town is full of stories about you guys…

Jason: What are they saying? Hope it’s only good things…

Nessie: There will be a town meeting tomorrow to discuss the issue…

Jason: What issue?

Nessie: The reason why you guys are here? The dragons are a sensitive matter and the town’s people are very protective over them… You have to get permission from the town council to hatch the eggs…

Jason: Really? We didn’t know that…

Nessie: Yep it’s true…

Jason: We already hatched one egg… 

Nessie: OMG! I hope you have hidden it…

Jason: Yep we did. But is it really so serious?

Nessie: More than you think… If the police catches you with a dragon or an egg, you can go to jail for life…

Jason: Romeo, we’ve got a serious problem…

Romeo: Why?

Jason: The women I’ve just talked to, told me that we can go to jail if they catch us with eggs or dragons…

Romeo: Really? Why?

Jason: Apparently the Dragons are protected species and we must have a permit to hatch the eggs… And the town’s people are very finicky about who can breed with them… They also have very strict regulations before they will give you a permit…

Romeo: Wow! That is a calamity… Now I understand why the women that Millard got the egg from suggested that we hide the dragon when it hatches… 

Jason: So what are we going to do… I don’t want to go to jail…

Romeo: Let’s stop with the searching for the eggs now… I will think of something…

Jason: Oh by the way there is a town meeting tomorrow at the Town square… The town’s people are going to discuss our involvement with the dragon eggs…

Romeo: I got a letter from the town council today… So that is what it is about…

Philip knows he has to talk to Romeo about his transformation… It’s almost full moon and he can feel the moon is going to effect him one way or the other…

Philip: There’s something that I have to tell you, but know, no matter what, I really want to help you with your daughters search…

Romeo: You know you can tell me anything… If I can help you with something, I will if I can…

Philip: There’s nothing that you can help me with… It’s just that you have to know something about me…

Romeo: It sounds serious… 

Philip: It is…

Romeo: So tell me…

Philip: Do you believe that Roger saw a mermaid?

Romeo: Why do you ask that? Are you a mermaid?

Philip: No… Something else…

Romeo: What…?

Philip: It’s full moon tonight… Then you will see for yourself…

Then just as the sun goes down and the darkness sets in, the moon took over Philip’s body once again and transform him into a noble wolf…

A very handsome noble wolf…

After his chat with Jason, Romeo told the others of their problem and everybody decided it will be the right thing to go to the meeting…  Maybe they can convince the locals to help them with the dragons… If Romeo tell them his story maybe he can convince them to give him a permit to hatch the eggs… 

Romeo: Okay guys… Good luck and remember to stay calm and let me do the talking… And don’t mentioned the dragon that we already have…

Jason: Yep guys we don’t want to end up in jail… 

Fynn: Everything will be fine… I’m sure of that!

Philip: Yes! We just have to convince the locals of our good intentions…

Leo: Yep we don’t want to harm their dragons…

Millard: Yes we want our own… hehe

Romeo: Let’s just hope we can convince them to give us a permit…

Quickly the square fills up with people and an elder starts with the meeting… He tells everybody about the group of people who came to their town and that they are asking about their dragon eggs… Then he questioned their intentions with the dragons… Why do they want them? What are they going to do with them? Will they sell them for pets? Do they want them for their powers?

Crowd: Put them in jail!

Crowd: We can’t allow them to take our dragons…

Crowd: Lock them up!

Crowd: We can’t let them sell our dragons…!

Crowd: Lock them up! Lock them up! Lock them up!

Romeo decides it is now the time that he has to say something… and he goes and stand at the podium.. 

Romeo: Please listen to me! I have something to say!

Romeo started to tell the crowd of his daughter and about the kidnapping… How he put a search party together because the local police couldn’t help him… Their searching on unchartered Islands and how a monster took one of them…

He also told them about their treasure hunt in China… All the danger that they had to go through to get the treasure for the kidnappers… Another one of their group members that got electrocuted and couldn’t help further with the search anymore… The note that the kidnappers left him that brought them to Dragon Valley… He ends his reason by begging the locals to give him a permit and allow him to hatch the dragon eggs… He begs for his daughter’s life..  

All of a sudden the elder took his place on the podium again and talk to the crowd… 

Elder: People will we give this man what he wants? Let’s forgot what we want and think of a young lady who’s life is in danger… Everyone here has a child that also could be kidnapped one day.. You can also go through what this man is going through right now…

Romeo couldn’t believe what the elder just said… And all of a sudden the crowd is quiet… They listen to their elderly..

Elder: Will we help this man? Will we help him catch the kidnappers? It’s not necessary that the kidnappers have to disappear with our dragons… Lets help this man to hatch the eggs and then we can catch the kidnappers and take our dragons back… What do you say, people of Dragon Valley? 

Romeo was so surprised when the elder told him to go with him to the city hall to get a permit to hatch the eggs… He thought they would have to go empty handed back to the kidnappers.. He doesn’t even want to think what would have happened with his daughter if the locals didn’t want to help them… They’re not only going to help him with the dragon eggs but they’re also going to help him to catch the kidnappers… There is lots of hope….

Fynn: Guys, come look! This egg is about to hatch… 

The search party couldn’t believe that everything worked out so well for them… They thought they will all end up in jail… Romeo got the permit to hatch the eggs and people around town call them when they discovered eggs… Everybody is all of a sudden very helpful…

Fynn is very glad when he can finally hold his green dragon…

The following morning Jason’s egg also hatches and he also got a green dragon…

Then Philip got a call from Aaron Finnigan and agree to meet him at the Mister McCann’s Restaurant…

Philip: Do you have a dragon egg for me…

Aaron: I know where one is…

Philip: Cool! Will you show me?

Aaron: I will but I want something from you…

Philip: What?

Aaron: Is it true that you are a werewolf?

Philip: What does that have to do with what you want?

Aaron: I’ve heard that werewolf's can hunt for all kinds of elements like gold…

Philip: Do you want me to hunt gold for you?

Philip: The people in this town are weird…

Leo: Why do you say that?

Philip: You must hear what this guy wanted from me before he showed me an egg…

Romeo: What?

Philip: I had to hunt some gold for him…

Leo: And did you that?

Philip: I had to…

Leo: Oh no… Hopefully nobody wants something in return from me…

Romeo: Guys if people wants something in return for the eggs, don’t feel oblige to do what they want… Just thank them for their help but tell them nicely that you will get it from someone else…  I don’t want you guys do stuff that you don’t want to do… And if they want some money just come and ask me… Then we can make a plan… Okay guys?

Philip: Guys!

Philip is very excited when his egg hatches and he can hold his green dragon…

Leo got a call from Finn Dolan to meet him at the Traigh Mhor Beach…

Luckily he didn’t have to wait long before Finn pitches…

Finn: I’ve got an egg for you…

Leo: Mmm…

Finn: Are you really blind?

Leo: I am.. Why? 

Finn: I want you to come with me…

Millard got another call from Dorren Delaney…

Dorren: Will you marry my daughter if I give you an egg…?

Millard: What?

Leo was very excited when his dragon egg hatched and he can hold the dragon…

Millard was very excited when a black dragon hatches from his egg…

Philip: We’re almost there… Six dragons in six days…

Romeo: Yep I never thought we will be so lucky…

Philip: Did you think of a way to catch the kidnappers yet?

Romeo: I had a meeting with the town’s people today to work out some strategies… As soon as we’ve got all ten dragons, we can put our plans together…

Philip: I can’t wait to get your daughter back… 

Romeo: Yep me too… I just hope the kidnappers didn’t mess with her…

It’s not just hard work all the way for the team, as they have to wait for the eggs to hatch, they can also have a bit of fun on a rainy day!

Late on the seventh day Jason got a call from Kearny O’Shea and agrees to meet him at the local gym…

Kearny: I’ve got some dragon eggs to sell…

Jason: Mmm… How much?

Kearny: I don’t want money but do you still have treasure from China?

Jason: Maybe… Is there something specific that you are looking for?

Kearny: A rainbow gem… 

Kearny: It’s my daughter’s birthday in a few days and all she asked for is a rainbow gem…

Jason: What does she want to do with it?

Kearny: I don’t know… Do you have one?

The following morning Jason’s egg hatched into a beautiful purple dragon… 

Leo decides to go for a walk with Haylo… Next to the McCafferty Pub a man starts talking to him…

Riley: Are you still looking for eggs?

Leo: Yes sure… We still need more dragons… Do you know where I can get some eggs?

While the team are still searching for eggs Romeo decides to train the dragons that they already have…

And he’s very surprised on how well they’re doing…

Philip spoke to Lorna McCann at the community garden and she told him where to look for eggs…

Fynn got a call from Quinn Flanagan to meet him at the local school…

Jason: This was our first dragon… 

Philip: Yep and the only red one so far… 

Jason: There are still three eggs that have to hatch…

Philip: Yes then we can confront the kidnappers…

Jason: I just hope that Romeo and the elders plan will work…

Philip: Do you know what they are planning?

Jason: Nope but whatever it is, I just hope we can catch them and save Romeo’s daughter from them… 

Fynn: I can’t believe that we’re finally got enough eggs…

Philip: Yep I really hope my last dragon is red…

Leo: I’m just glad that we’re almost finished here and i can’t wait to confront the kidnappers…

Fynn: Yep, I wonder what Romeo’s plans are? 

Philip: I don’t know but… your egg is about to hatch Leo…

Leo: Wow! Really?

The others told Leo that he got a green dragon…

A few hours later Philip’s egg also hatches… It’s not the red dragon that he hoped for but he is just as excited about the black dragon…

Then the last and tenth egg hatches into a purple dragon… There is four green dragons, three purple dragons, two black dragons and one red dragon… 

Romeo: Guys, thank you very much for all your hard work with finding the dragon eggs… We’ve got a nice collection of dragons here and tomorrow we will give the dragons to the kidnappers and hopefully we all could go home safely with my daughter… Thanks again guys! You did a great job! 

Jason: I just hope that we can catch the kidnappers tomorrow…

Romeo: If our plan runs smoothly we can be home by tomorrow night!

Leo: Cool! I must say I will like to sleep in my own bed again…

Fynn: And I need a long warm bath… 

Millard: Can I talk to you?

Romeo: Sure…

Millard: You really know that I genuine want to help you catch the kidnappers…

Romeo: Yeah…

Millard:  Something happened and I have to leave the team…

Romeo: Uhm… Do you want to tell me why? Is it something that I did to you or one of the guys?

Millard: No, it wasn’t you or any of the guys… It’s just that I’ve met someone here in Dragon Valley and I want to stay here to get to know her better…

Romeo: Wow! You really fell for one of the locals… But it’s awesome! I wouldn’t stand in your way…  Who is the girl?

Millard: I met the girl through her father… I got one of the eggs from him… 

Romeo: Okay…  and are you sure that’s what you want to do?

Millard: Yep… I have this strong feeling I loved her before I met her…

Romeo: Wow! So it’s Love at first sight! I’m happy for you! And it’s okay… I will release you from the team… You just have to invite us to your wedding…

Millard: Sure… I will… And thanks…















Fynn got the tiebreaker right so he is going through to the next round... Sorry Millard... :'(
