Episode 2 - KRAKEN ATTACK!

Romeo: Okay guys I got a phone call from the kidnappers and they told me that Juliet is on an Island near Paradiso Island… I don’t know why they told me that. I think they are playing games with me. But I’m sure we will hear from them again and figure out why.   So get your stuff ready. We will go to the airport in the next hour… Are you ready?

Everybody: Yes! Let the action begin! 

After several hours on an island near Paradiso Island…

Romeo: Sorry guys, I know this isn’t a five star hotel, but then we didn’t come here for a holiday… We’re here to search for my daughter… According to the statistics there’s a few unchartered islands around Paradiso Island…  So we have a lot of ground to cover..

Jason: Are we searching for the islands together or do we do it alone…

Romeo: I think we need to split up so that we can find my daughter faster… There is a boat for each of you behind me that you can use.. We don’t know how many islands there are and we’ve got limited time… I’m fearing for my daughter’s life so we have to work quick… 

Millard: So what do we do when we find an island? Do we explore it right away or do we come and tell you?

Romeo: I want you to explore the islands but be careful with the kidnappers… It will be best if you let me know immediately that I can get the island’s police to intervene… Please don’t play hero… I don’t want any deaths on my conscious…

Roger: Okey dokey, here comes Explorer and Investigator, Lucky Ducky, Roger Le Bon… We will have your daughter back in a jiffy!

Romeo: I really hope so… I really do…

Then the search party is on their way… Will they find Romeo’s daughter before the kidnappers kills her? What obstacles will they have to overcome to find Juliet?

Millard is the first one that couldn’t believe his luck when he found the first island…

And after he found a treasure chest he knew the goddess of luck is on his side… Now he can buy that guitar that he always wanted… But that’s the only thing he finds… There’s nothing else on this island… Or was for a very long time for this matter…

Lucky Ducky Roger Le Bon is the second one to find an Island…

But a quick search shows that the island is also empty… No kidnappers and no Juliet…

But on his way back he can swear he saw a mermaid…

Roger: Do you believe in mermaids?

Danny: What?

Fynn: Mermaids… I’m sure it’s just a myth…

Roger: I saw one today on my way back…

Danny: You must be hallucinating… There isn’t living beings like that…

Roger: It’s true! I know what I saw… Half women half fish!

Danny: Fynn is right, it’s just a myth… Mermaids and mermen doesn’t exist and stop telling stories about it! 

Roger: But I know what I saw! This Lucky Ducky saw a mermaid and nobody going to tell me otherwise…!

Fynn: Where did you see her? Maybe I can also go and have a look…

Danny: You two must stop immediately with this nonsense… There is no such things like mermaids…! Read my lips… It doesn’t exist!

Fynn:  Okay… Cool it dude…! We’re just speculating…

Danny: Just stop it, okay?

Roger: Okay… If you say so…

Fynn: Okay…

Fynn: Why is Roger lying on the ground?

Philip: I have no idea…

Fynn: Shame this poor man must be exhausted after his encounter with the mermaid…

Philip: What mermaid?

Fynn: Shhh Don’t let Danny hear you… But apparently Roger saw one today on his way back..

Philip: You kidding me… Really? A mermaid?

Fynn: That’s what he said…

Early the next morning the men is out and about to search for more islands and Romeo’s daughter… Philip is the lucky one to get another unchartered Island…

But it’s also an empty Island and not a sign that the kidnappers were ever here…

Jason couldn’t believe his eyes when he discovered this Island… It’s so beautiful.. If he didn’t have his family farm he could come and stay here for the rest of his life… He’s sure he can make a living here…

But he’s not here to enjoy the view of the Island and quickly explores it… But there’s no sign that the kidnappers were here either…

Millard: Did you guys get any treasure chests today?

Jason: Treasure chests? I didn’t know here’s any… Danny…?

Danny: Mmm…

Millard: Treasure chests… Did you get any…

Danny: No… 

Jason: What are you thinking about…? I can see you’re not with us…

Danny: Nothing…

Jason: Still can’t remember anything about your past?

Danny: No and just leave it! It’s nothing to do with all of you… Understand?

Millard: Cool it dude… We’re just curious…

Danny: Just leave me alone…

Millard: I’m worried about Danny… I wonder what’s eating at him?

Jason: Yep, yesterday it was the mermaid story that he flipped out about and now I just asked him what he was thinking about…

Millard: You’re right, I think there’s something big troubling him…

Jason: Maybe we must just leave him alone… I’m sure he will be fine… 

When Haylo the Husky starts barking continuously, Leo know there must be something nearby…

Leo: Good dog! I knew we could do this… *Everybody believes I am the most incapable to be helping find this girl! But I’m here not only to do a good deed and help innocent family.. But to prove to everyone it doesn’t matter who you are or what life throws at you, you can always succeed! I’m here to show them that a blind guy can find someone just as good as anyone can with vision! You don’t need your eyes to find things, you just need your will …* So let’s quickly explore this island… 

But Leo only could hear the chirping of the Islands birds… There’s nothing else that disturbs this beautiful island… Haylo the Husky and he was the very first ever to be on the island…

Danny never mentioned how he found this Island… Roamers are that you have to befriend a mermaid to get access to the entrance of the Mermaid’s Secret Island…

But the Island was also empty accept for the birds that lives here…

Roger: Philip, are you joining the conversation?

Philip: Sorry, I need to get something in my tent…

Jason: I wonder how many more islands are there to discover?

Millard: Didn’t you guys get any treasure chests on the islands at all?

Fynn: I didn’t even get an island yet… Duh… Where should I find treasure?

Millard: I wish I can get more Islands… I’m sure this place got much more treasure to find.. Years and years ago this must have been a pirate’s hang out where they hid their treasure…

Jason: It’s a pity we’ve got limited time here otherwise we could explore the islands more thoroughly… 

Roger: I don’t want to blow your bubbles guys, but we’re not here to find treasure… We’re here to find Juliet…

Jason: Yep and the kidnappers could’ve killed her already… We really have to speed things up… 

Millard: Yep but where do they hold her? I’m sure we already found all the unchartered Islands…

Fynn: It can’t be… There must be more… We just have to look harder…  

Philip: What is it with you guys? I need to tell you that I've just changed my mind about Leo... I think he might be the most likely person to find Juliet, thanks to his dog Haylo. That pup definitely got some good brains. I mean, I was just wondering myself what time it was, and guess who barked the right amount of time... I can't deny I'm slightly jealous of Leo now. When I get home, I maybe should adopt a dog too... Oh well you obviously not listening… I might go to bed myself…

Early the next morning Fynn couldn’t believe that he finally also found an Island… And that the kidnappers could be here too… The little cabin next to the shore may be the place where the kidnappers are holding Juliet… Should he let Romeo know what he found or can he investigate himself? 

But everything seems very quiet at the cabin… He decides that he will rather investigate himself before he lets Romeo know…

Romeo: And you say you just found this note there? Nothing else?

Fynn: Yepp… It looks like the kidnappers left in a hurry… I think they found out about the search party and saw me coming…

Romeo: You should have let me know before you rushed in there and frightened them off…

Fynn: I only realized the Cabin was there when I was almost on it… Then it was too late to hide…

Romeo: Next time you really have to be more careful before you rush into things…

Fynn: Sorry Romeo… I hope I’m still in the team…?

Romeo: Just be careful next time… We can’t afford mistakes like this… My daughter’s life depends on it…

Fynn: I promise that I’ll be more careful… Thanks Romeo… You won’t regret it!

Romeo: *If Fynn hasn’t blew it I could’ve had my daughter back by now… I should’ve really waited for more experienced people…* 

The note the kidnappers left, didn’t really say anything, just that Romeo must back off with his search party otherwise they’re going to kill his daughter…  He really doesn’t know what to do… The police are also hopeless and don’t help him much… And the kidnappers also doesn’t say what they want.. Why did they kidnapped Juliet? Why? They didn’t asked for money yet… Just left him with riddles and clues where he can find his daughter… He can just hope that Juliet is ok and will survive this ordeal…

Danny: Here doggy doggy…

Haylo the Husky: Woof woof!

Philip: Is it really necessary to make a noise like that? Look at the time… Everybody is sleeping..

Danny: I’m not and I feel like playing with the dog…

Philip: Please stop doing that! You’re really rude…! People want to get up early to search for Romeo’s daughter…

Danny: Don’t tell me what to do and what I am! I will do what I please… And now I want to play with the dog…

Philip: You’re really an insensitive creature, not knowing what you are!

Danny: What did you just say?

Philip: Nothing, I’m going to bed… Just stop playing with the dog…!

A few hours later… One of the rescuers couldn’t sleep and decided to go fishing… He’s so busy battling with his own thoughts that he didn’t notice the dark shadow in the deep waters crawling closer to him…

Then it’s too late to get away… The creature takes it’s prey and…

disappeared with him in the deep waters…

Romeo: Guys I’ve got bad news for you… You all will notice that Danny isn’t with us anymore…

Fynn: Why? What happened with him…

Everybody: Yes, what happened?

Romeo: Apparently KRAKEN took him…

Jason: KRAKEN? Who’s that? And why is it bad news?

Millard: O my god! The creature took him!

Romeo: It’s bad but it’s true… Danny isn’t with us anymore…

Fynn: What happened? And why?

Romeo: One of the locals saw him fishing in the early hours of this morning… The man also saw how the creature took him and his boat down into the waters…

Philip: Oh my god! I hope that it wasn’t me that sent him to his death… 

Roger: Why do you say that?

Philip: He was playing with Haylo during the night and I woke up because of the noise they’re making… So I called him an insensitive creature for not stopping… I didn’t see him after that because I went to bed…

Fynn: Maybe that was the last straw… I could’ve see something was bothering him lately…

Romeo: Lets leave it as is… The town council will take it from here… What I want to know from you is if you are still available to search for my daughter? The kidnappers still got her…

Jason: It’s bad about Danny but yes I’m still willing to help…

Leo: Yes, my dog and I are still available… 

Roger: Sure, I’m also in…

Philip: Off coarse I’m in…

Millard: So am I…

Fynn: Count me in!

Romeo: Thank you guys… I will rewarded each and everyone of you when we find my daughter…

Will Romeo get his daughter back or what game is the kidnappers playing..? And who is it?
