Romeo: I got news that the kidnappers fled to China with my daughter.. Are you all ready to go to China and continue with the search for my daughter?
Fynn: I don’t know about the others but the sooner we can continue with the search the better…
Others: We are… Let’s go all ready!!
A few hours later…
Jason: This place is still not a five star Hotel but it’s much better than the previous camp…
Philip: Yep you’re right… We’ve got better tents…
Roger: Don’t forget about the kitchen…
Fynn: And the view is absolutely beautiful!
Leo: I‘m here to find Juliet and not to stand here and listen how all of you ooh and aaah like you on vacation..
Romeo: Ok back to business.. I got another phone call from the kidnappers… And it sounds like they’re not here in China…
Jason: What? Where are they? Why did they say they were here? Are we going to another place now?
Romeo: Not yet… The kidnappers wanted us here because they want us to search for some treasure for them…
Roger: What? Why? Can’t they do it themselves?
Romeo: Sorry guys, if you don’t feel up to this it’s fine… I’ll look for other people to help me. But if I don’t do what they want they’re going to kill my daughter…
Millard: Treasure hunting? Cool I’m in! Did the kidnappers mentioned where we can get this treasure?
Romeo: Yes… Apparently there is seven or eight locations where we can search for it…
Dragon caves or Dragon Maw is one place that we can look…
The Temple of Heaven apparently got dungeons underneath it
There at the Terracotta Army is a hidden entrance to more dungeons…
If we can get rid of that boulder at the Hot Springs we can explore the diving pool there…
The Ancient Monks Retreat have some tombs underneath…
And then the Halls of the Lost Army and…
The market also has some secret caves and dungeons underneath… We just have to look for the hidden entrances…
Philip: Wow, I didn’t realize that we are sitting on a fortune here…
Fynn: So why didn’t they just demand money?
Romeo: Apparently there are relics and artifacts hidden in those locations and they want us to find it for them.. They are worth millions! And these scumbag kidnappers are probably too lazy or scared to find the treasure themselves and that’s why they kidnapped Juliet.. So we can do all the work and they can have all the treasure.. So are you guys willing to help me with this? If you’re not up to it, I will understand…
Millard: If I can get something for myself, I’m definitely in!
Jason: Sounds fun! I’m in…
Roger: I didn’t expect this, but why not?
Fynn: Count me in!
Romeo: Leo?
Leo: I can do that!
Romeo: Thank you guys! As I’ve said previously, I will reward you for your efforts in helping me..
Romeo: I know you did very well in Paradiso Island, but are you sure you can continue with the search here in China? It’s going to be much harder and more dangerous.
Leo: Yep I’m ready as can be… Luckily I took some martial arts as a kid and my other senses are making up for what I’ve lost in my eyesight.
Romeo: You are so remarkable… I really can’t believe you’re doing this… If I didn’t know any better, I would never think that you are blind.
Leo: A person learn to adapt… In the beginning it was very hard to accept but I’m still young and I’m not a person who give up so quickly…
Early the next morning Leo decides the Ancient Monks Retreat is just the place for him to search for the treasure that the kidnappers want…
Leo notices immediately the different tile underneath his feet on the floor when he steps on the tile… Then all of a sudden he hears a rumbling noise coming from somewhere not far from them.
Leo: What’s that noise?
Haylo: Woof! Woof!
Leo: Come, take me there…
After Romeo told them about the tombs around China where they can search for the treasure, he also told them what to look out for… Hidden entrances, staircases, holes in walls and that they also have to be careful for traps… Haylo leads Leo towards the staircase that appeared after he stood on the tile.
Leo: What’s in here Haylo?
Leo knows that he has to rely on his senses now and his best friend, Haylo. Haylo barks at something in front of them and pushes Leo towards something. Leo also listen carefully if he hear something, but everything sounds very quiet..
Leo: What’s this?
Leo touches the cold steel of iron and decided it must be some kind of a door. But it’s locked.. He can feel the chain and iron lock… Romeo also told them that there will be some kind of puzzles that they have to solve to open locked and hidden doors… But what will open this door?
Leo: *walking towards Haylo’s barking* What are you barking at?
Leo kicks against some rubble in the corner of the room.
After searching the room for something to get rid of the rubble he finds a pick that a previous explorer must have been left there…
Leo didn’t find treasure but he discovered a hole in the wall…
Leo: Ouch…! What’s this? It bites! *he quickly shove the cockroaches from his arm*
Then he inspects the hole again and finds a trigger and the rumbling noise and Haylo’s excited barking tells Leo that there must be a hidden door that opened that he didn’t find previously…
Leo: Come on Haylo, I’m sure there must be treasure…
Haylo: Woof Woof!
There was some treasure but also the keystone that opens the iron door…
Haylo’s bark told him that they must be in a very large room with interesting stuff around… Quickly he explores against the walls for more entrances.
After finding another iron door that is locked Leo searches for clues to open it… He found a tile on the floor but after nothing happened when he stood on it he realizes that he needs something else to activate it. By further exploration he found a statue that is loose on the floor and pull it over the tile… Then the iron door opens..
In another room Leo finds some kind of pool and decided to explore it…
Leo: Don’t worry Haylo… I’ll be fine… I’m sure there are treasure on the bottom of the pool or a trigger that can open some other doors…
Haylo: Woof! Woof!
Then they find another room and all off a sudden Leo doesn’t feel comfortable… Something is very wrong here…
Leo: Oh no! Fire traps!
Haylo: Woof! Woof!
Meanwhile Fynn decided to check the market out and after hours of searching he found the hole at the back of the market…
Fynn: Oh gross! I hate cockroaches!
But he did find the trigger to activate the hidden staircase…
Fynn: Cool! Some chests… Wonder what’s in there?
Fynn: Damn! Its empty!
Fynn: Mmmm… What is this? A diving pool?
Fynn: I guess I’ll have to get rid off my clothes… Can’t dive with it… Luckily I’ve got my swimming wear underneath my clothes…
Fynn: Cool! I’ve triggered a hidden door!
Fynn: Let’s see where this staircase leading me to…
Fynn: Wow! Look at this place! Ah and there some coins… Cool, I’m going to be rich in no time!
Fynn: I wonder if there’s some treasure underneath this rubble… Luckily someone left a pick here…
Fynn: Mmm I can’t do anything with that boulder but maybe there’s something in this hole…
Fynn: Aaaah! Not again! I hate cockroaches!
Fynn: Finally some treasure!
Fynn: You must see that cockroaches… They’re huge!
Millard: Oh I’m sure you’re joking! I never heard something ridiculous like that…
Roger: Did you find any treasure?
Fynn: Yep, a few coins and some broken bowls… I’m sure it can count against the kidnappers treasure chest…
Fynn: Are you sure you’re not hurt?
Roger: Oh my, I can’t believe that you came out of there alive!
Leo: Guys, guys I’m perfectly okay… Luckily the diving pool was nearby that saved me from the flames!
Fynn: That’s a relieve! We really can’t loose another guy…
Leo: Thanks buddy for saving my life today! If it wasn’t for you to lead me to the diving pool it was tickets with me now…
Haylo: Woof! Woof!
Millard can’t wait to explore the Temple of Heaven. He just hopes that the roomers are true about the axe that can destroy boulders. He heard that you can find it here and it can help with that boulder at the Hot Springs… And he is also very excited about the treasure he can find here… He’s sure Romeo will let him take some treasure for himself…
Quickly he found the staircase that leads to the dungeon underneath the Temple…
Then he finds himself in a hall with a locked door on the one end and a heap of rubble against the wall next to him…
Luckily he found a pick and starts to get rid of the rubble. He can see a door frame behind it and he’s sure it can lead him deeper into the dungeon…
He wasn’t wrong and quickly find himself in a maze…
He found diving wells that take him to other rooms..
And he also have to overcome all kinds of traps…
He is also lucky to find some treasure chests…
Then another path lead him to
The top of the dungeon where he saw some islands everywhere… But how does he get there? There’s a lot of staircases and traps everywhere… What a maze and which path is the right one? And if he’s not mistaken he can see something hanging in the air on one of the islands… What is it? Is it the magical Pangu Axe?
Jason: So did you get any treasure?
Millard: Yep a lot! I can’t believe how amazing that place is… Just wish we’ve got more time to explore… There’s so many places that I didn’t even go into…
Jason: And did you get the magical Axe? Are the roomers true?
Millard: Yes i found it! And it’s so unbelievable.. You must see how it breaks the boulders into a million pieces and the rubble into fine powder in one single blow…
Jason: Wow! Really? You must show me!
Philip decided it’s time for him to explore the location that’s been given to him… He quickly found the hidden staircase that lead to the caves underneath the Terracotta Army…
Philip: Wow! How exciting!
Then all off a sudden he feels something strange happening in his body…
Philip: What’s happening? Why do I feel like a beast?
Philip: Huh… What happened with me… That’s strange…
Philip: Oh well, maybe I imagined that or the noble wolf in me wants to come out…hehe… But I’m not here to explore the wolf in me… I’m here to explore for treasure… Lets see if this keystone can open some doors for me…
It did opened a door and now he finds himself in another room full of treasure chests…
Philip: Cool! I’m out of here in no time… This place really gives me the creeps…
Philip: Damn this chest only has a few coins in it and not the treasure that the kidnappers are looking for…
Philip: So it means I have to look for the keystone that opens that door…
After he opens the door he finds a diving pool that leads him to this room…
Philip: Wow! So many chests… I wonder what is in there?
Philip: Lets open the blue chest first… Maybe there’s some treasure in…
But he slams the door shut when he realizes what he just saw…
It’s as if his mind can’t process what he just saw… And all of a sudden he can’t move a muscle… He just wants to jump back in the pool and get away from the mummy, but it’s as if the mummy hypnotized him.. He cant move and he can feel the mummy’s red eyes staring at him and moving closer by the second…
Until the mummy starts beating him and only then he starts to fight for his life…
But it’s all in vain since the mummy was much stronger and he must have passed out during the fight… He doesn’t know how long he was lying there on the cold dungeon floor…
Then after he woke up the beast inside him decided to come out again…
But like the previous time it was there just for a moment… What is happening with him?
That evening back at the camp Philip decided not to tell the others about his transformation… He knows they will just think it’s his imagination…
Romeo: Don’t you guys want to help me with the fire…?
Roger: Sure, we will go and get more logs…
Fynn: Yes sure!
Romeo: Thanks! I’ll appreciate it!
Romeo: So how’s the treasure hunting going?
Fynn: I’ve found some coins and a few relics here and there… But I’m sure we will get more…
Romeo: Roger did you explore the Hot Springs yet?
Roger: Nope not yet, but I plan to go there tomorrow?
Romeo: Did Millard give you the axe? I’m sure you will get rid of that boulder in no time…
Roger: Yep he did…
Fynn: I’m still surprised that he got that thing… It’s so amazing..
The next morning Jason decided he has wasted enough time sleeping and is off to his location…
Finding hidden doors and
Solving puzzles in the Dragon’s Cave is no biggy for him…
He just makes sure he reads every inscription on the walls to find clues…
And he can feel how the adrenaline rushes through his veins when he found a hidden door or a staircase or some treasure…
Sometimes he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw all the amazing stuff in the rooms…
Jason: But that’s me walking there… Wow! Haha! If I didn’t see my reflection in that mirror I would have thought there’s another room there…
Jason: Wow another cool room with amazing stuff… I wonder what will that tile activate?
Jason: OMG! A real mummy! I thought Philip was just joking when he told us that he saw one…
Jason: Oops! Where did that one comes from? I’m so out of here!
Millard: You really fought with two Mummies? I don’t believe you!
Jason: I promise you… You can believe me! I hit them so hard that they just crumbled into thin ash… I will go and show you, the ash are still lying there…
Millard: But Philip told us that he passed out… So you can really beat and win the fight with a mummy?
Jason: I did!
Millard: It’s so cool! I wish I can see one…
Jason: You can always go to the Dragon’s Cave… I’m sure there will be more…
Millard: Maybe I will…
The next morning Roger takes the axe and go to the Hot Springs…
He couldn’t believe the power that goes through the axe when he holds it in his hands…
And how easy he can get rid of this boulder… It is just Wow!
“Here comes Lucky Ducky Roger Le Bon ready for action! This is so cool! My first diving pool! Lets see where it lead to..”
“It lead Lucky Ducky to a secret room full of treasure.. Yeah! I wonder if it is really true that only crazy people talk to themselves? Hehe..”
Fynn: And did you find some treasure in the dungeon beneath the Hot Springs?
Roger: Yep I did find a lot of treasure! It was so awesome! I cant believe I’m such a lucky ducky! Hehe..
Fynn: Hehe that’s good that you’re so lucky Roger. Do you think there is more secret doors there, that I can explore and then you can go search some place else tomorrow?
Roger: I’m sure there are more treasure there and yes I will love to explore another place tomorrow, so the Hot Springs are all yours my friend..
Romeo: We still need more relics… You all have to go back to your locations and search for more… Hopefully we can make tomorrow our last day…
Roger: Me and Fynn decided to swap locations to check if the other one didn’t miss anything.. So Lucky Ducky is exploring the market tomorrow! Yeah! Hehe
Fynn: And I will check the Hot springs for more secret doors and treasure.
Romeo: That’s a good idea!
Away from the others Philip is still battling with the beast inside him… He can’t decide if he should tell the others or not… He is also scared that Romeo will send him away when he finds out of his transformation… For the first time he also believes that Roger did see a mermaid… If he is what he believes he is, then mermaids can also exist…
Roger woke up very early and very excited, he runs to the market… He didn’t search long before he found the tile that activates the hidden staircase…
“Yeah I did it! I did it! Its sad that a brilliant mind like mine has to die one day and get eaten by worms. Hehe! But anyway here I goes Lucky Ducky!”
He quickly inspects the walls for hidden doors
And is excited when he finds one..
Roger: Wow! Interesting room! Now I will just have to figure out how to open this big door… And he does…
Roger: Ouch! A steam trap… Why didn’t I see this one!
He uses the axe to clear the rubble and finds another doorway that gets him overly excited again!
He ran through the door, when he saw the statue puzzle and got too excited that it might lead to bigger treasure and forgot to check for traps before it was too late…
Romeo: I have some bad news and some good news…
Fynn: Is it about Roger?
Romeo: Yes! He is alive and getting better by the minute after the accident in the tomb…
Millard: Wow that’s a relieve… And the bad news?
Romeo: He is still in hospital and wont be able to help us anymore with my daughter’s searching…
Philip: Oh no! It will cripple us in the search but I’m glad he is fine…
Leo: Yep, I’m glad that I’ve got my dog with me when I caught on fire… If he didn’t help me to the diving well I was also gone…
Romeo: Sorry guys… I believe some of you had bad experiences… Just hope it doesn’t get worse… I take it that you still help me find my daughter…?
Millard: Obvious… We still have to find your daughter…
Jason: And I never quit before I have reached my goal… And to find your daughter is now my goal…
Leo: I’m still in!
Philip: Me two!
Fynn: Yepp!
Romeo: Thank you guys… I’m glad I’ve chosen you guys…
Millard: I will go to the very end!
